Metro Land NYC > Big, Bold and Bitter

New York City. The big apple. The city that never sleeps. The concrete jungle where dreams are made.

NYC has a magnetism, an attitude and a swagger. It’s bold and brash. It’s the city we wished we could travel during the Covid lockdowns. That is why we made this beer – to escape London through beer, with a recipe brewed in an attempt to capture what we think is the essence of NYC.

Metro Land NYC has been inspired by some of our favourite American-style pale ales. Beers like Three Floyds Zombie Dust IPA, and the Lagunitas Born Yesterday Pale Ale and Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale.

Built on a backbone of caramel and Maris Otter malts, Metro Land NYC has a medium body and a slight biscuity, caramel flavour.

The combination of these malts and Mosaic hops have created a beer with pronounced aromas of summer berries and tropical fruits like mango and papaya. A dry-hop of Citra and Cashmere hops give flavours of citrus, orange peel and grapefruit zest.

Metro Land NYC is paired great with American fast-food classics like hotdogs, burgers, fried chicken and pizza. At 4.2%, it's the strongest beer in our Metro Land Session IPA series. It's a great beer to enjoy while watching sports or chilling with your mates.

Leo Zero's artwork on the can features scenes of the New York skyline, the iconic New York red fire hydrant, a subway car, baseball players and a boombox referencing to New York's rich hip-hop history.

You can buy Two Tribes Metro Land Session IPA from our webstore.
