Finance Assistant
About the role:
We are looking to expand the tribe and bring in a new Finance Assistant to support our growth and continue the Two Tribes journey. You will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations at Two Tribes, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. Our ideal fit will have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, a flexible ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work confidently without day-to-day supervision & to deadlines.
At a glance:
Starting June/July, with hybrid working an option (our office is in Kings Cross)
Option for compressed or pro-rata hours.
Experienced-based salary between £25,000 - £30,000

Core Responsibilities:
- Regular bank reconciliations.
- Processing of supplier invoices for payment through the financial system and preparation of payment runs.
- Management of the credit control process.
- Reconciliation of the invoice financing facility.
- Regular supplier and customer account reconciliations.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Management of the weekly and monthly payroll processes.
- Oversight of the processing of staff expenses.
- Intercompany journals and reconciliations.
- Reconciliation of Amazon and Shopify accounts.
- Assisting with Balance Sheet reconciliations where required.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Assisting in the management of the annual audit process.
- Setting up of new Sales ledger accounts on the order system.
- Ad hoc projects and tasks as required the finance and wider team.
