TOGETHER Lager > Supporting 'Not A Phase' this June

Join us in celebrating PRIDE month this year by enjoying our TOGETHER LAGER and making a positive difference. Together, lets create a world where everyone is celebrated for who they are.

TOGETHER LAGER is a collaborative project supported by Two Tribes, Vinyl Cafe + Bar, Tileyard Education and Tileyard Studios. All proceeds to go to our chosen charity Not A Phase. It's available to buy from our webstore now.

NOT A PHASE is a London based, trans-led, grassroots charity dedicated to awareness campaigning, social projects and funding in new initiatives.

Not A Phase

We are so happy to be shining a light on this incredible charity and the work that they do all throughout the year. It has been truly heartwarming to connect together with other businesses operating at Tileyard Studios to raise funds, and plan a PRIDE PARTY to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride Party at Vinyl Cafe, Tileyard Studios

On Wednesday June 28, Vinyl Cafe will hold a PRIDE PARTY hosted by internationally ignored superstar, Vanity Von Glow. LGBTQIA+ students from Tileyard Education will be showcasing their talents.

There'll be fundraising raffles, FREE BEERS with donations of £5 an over, canned cocktails - and an ICONIC pop star fancy dress theme.

Tileyard Education Managing Director, Jamie Searls says:

"As an LGBT Managing Director, I want to highlight the profound significance of raising funds for not a phase during Pride. While Pride is a joyous celebration, it also serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by the transgender community.

By actively supporting and fundraising for not a phase, we demonstrate our commitment to creating a more equitable society. These donations provide vital resources, support, and advocacy for transgender individuals who often face unique obstacles. By contributing to their cause, we stand in solidarity and work towards a future where transgender individuals are affirmed, respected, and celebrated.

Together (a fitting name for the beer created by Two Tribes and Tileyard to fundraise for Not a Phase) we can make a tangible difference and ensure that Pride remains a platform for meaningful change."

Vinyl Cafe General Manager, Pippa Harrison says:

"As a Vinyl Cafe Manager here at Tileyard London, and being part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I am overwhelmed and delighted with the generosity and support from individuals and companies in helping us raise money for Not A Phase this PRIDE month.

Whilst PRIDE is a celebration full of joy and acceptance it is also important for us to remind ourselves why PRIDE exists in the first place. By supporting Not A Phase we are helping to provide essential resources for the transgender community who continually face obstacles throughout their journeys along with an alarming amount of discrimination and mistreatment.

We must continue to take steps to create a world where everyone's identity is respected, affirmed and celebrated. I am so proud of the LGBTQ+ community and the progress that continues to be made but there is still so much work to do.

Please join us on the 28th June at Vinyl Cafe to show your support for Not A Phase in any way that you can, again thank you to everyone who has shown their support so far, it's incredible and we're all deeply grateful."

Tileyard London Events Manager, Emily Hillier says:

"As the Events Manager for Tileyard London, I am incredibly proud to join hands with 'Not A Phase' in our commitment to making a positive impact during this Pride season.

Our PRIDE event and the 'TOGETHER LAGER' with the amazing design created by Two Tribes for the charity allows us to raise vital funds for a cause that is close to our hearts.

'Not A Phase' plays a crucial role in providing essential resources, support, and advocacy for transgender individuals, who often face unique challenges on their journey. By coming together and dedicating our efforts, we can make a tangible difference in their lives.

It is through unity, compassion, and inclusivity that we create a world where everyone's true identity is affirmed, respected, and celebrated. I am truly grateful to be part of this compassionate community, and I invite you all to join us in supporting 'Not A Phase' as we strive for a more equitable and inclusive society."
