VOICES RADIO PALE ALE > Launch Party Friday April 7

Spend Good Friday with your favourite King's Cross Brewery and Community Radio Station, as we celebrate the launch of the VOICES RADIO PALE ALE.

Voices Radio Pale Ale Beer Launch Party - Good Friday, April 7 2023

Voices Radio will be doing an outdoor broadcast in Lower Stable Street with a mix of Two Tribes resident DJs and the Voices Radio All-Stars (including most of the original DJ's who featured on their very first day of programming, almost two years ago).

The launch of the beer coincides with the return of the Voices Radio bar, where sales of beer are funneled directly back into supporting the operation of the radio station.

The bar is operated from Thursday through to Sunday from April to October, alongside the Lower Stable Street Market which champions some of London's most exciting craftspeople and tastiest street food vendors.

The beer itself is a refreshing 4.5% Pale Ale. We've added Yakima Chief's experimental variety HBC 630 in the whirlpool to capture flavours of berry, citrus and stone fruit.

We've then dry hopped with Mosaic, to accentuate these fresh flavours of berry and citrus while contributing aromas of ripe tropical fruits.

The beer pours golden with a hint of amber and a slight haze. The aroma is complex and fruity, bursting with sweet summer fruits.

Our brew team were joined by some of the Voices Radio founders, who got the chance to be apprentice brewers for the day. The Voices gang were involved throughout the entire process. They wanted this to be the perfect beer for their presenters to enjoy after a radio show or a DJ set.

Also DJing will be the team from BEAM Nights (Lucia Amoroso, Jojo Jones and Maria Hanlon) who exist to shine a light on women, non-binary and gender-non-conforming DJ's in London’s underground music scene.

It wouldn't be a Voices party without the All-Stars getting on the decks. Melv, Kit, natureboi, Jack and Faz will be putting down the brand new Voices Radio Pale Ale cans for a few moments to make sure we're all dancing. Expect bangers, beers and bubbles.
