Enjoying a Sunday Roast with your nearest and dearest is a sacred ritual for many Londoners.

Finding the perfect roast feels like you've won the lottery, ending up with a dud can be soul destroying.

In this guide, we've selected 15 of our current favourites.

1. Two Tribes CAMPFIRE Hackney Bridge (Hackney Wick)

We're a bit proud of the Fire Roasts that Two Tribes CAMPFIRE Chef Sam Deighton has put together at our pop-up venue at Hackney Bridge.

We've been selling out every weekend - make sure you don't miss out. The last Sunday Roast service for 2022 will be Sunday 11 December.

2. The Landseer Arms (Holloway Road/Archway)

A visit to the Landseer Arms is always a good idea.

Tucked away off Holloway Road, and a short walk down the hill from Archway Underground station - the Landseer is a gorgeous community pub with an incredible kitchen (they do £7 lunch specials on weekdays, which you NEED to check out).

You'll be able to find our Dream Factory Pale Ale gracing their taps, ready to help you wash down your Sunday Roast. 

Choose from an aged rump of beed, slow roasted pork belly, free range Norfolk chicken or a stuffed courgette - all served with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, seasonal veg and gravy.

3. The Dartmouth Arms (Tuffnell Park/Gospel Oak)

The Dartmouth Arms is a shining gem in the treasure trove that is NW5. It's a neighbourhood that is full of heart - you can fill the love from the moment you walk through the door.

Operated by the gang from Disappearing Dining Club  - the Sunday lunch at The Dartmouth Arms is next level.

Catering for vegans and carnivores with equal attention, you can choose between two or three courses. But we'd recommend going for the 'Family Chicken' served with all the trimmings and gravy.

Bring along your dog, kick back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere - and you may even catch our very own Leo Zero playing some vinyl on the decks.

4. The Portman (Marble Arch)

The Portman is a traditional, family owned gastropub in Marylebone - a short stroll from Marble Arch tube station.

The team work with the best producers available to offer a seasonal menu which is complimented with an excellent range of local beers; including out Dream Factory Pale Ale.

Choose from roasted dry-aged sirloin beef, corn-fed chicken breast, a leg of lamb - or a vegan seeded roast with mushroom, polenta, leeks, lentils and a white wine gravy.

5. Coin Laundry (Angel/Farringdon)

You can find Coin Laundry on Clerkenwell's pretty-as-a-postcard strip, Exmouth Market.

This laid back neighbourhood pub does an incredible Sunday menu. Choose from a garlic crusted aubergine with miso gravy, a roast lemon and herb chicken, crispy pork belly, roast topside of beef - with a mouthwatering range of sides to share.

6. The Rose Pub & Kitchen (New Cross Gate)

Just across the road from New Cross Gate Overground station, you'll find the wonderful community pub - The Rose Pub & Kitchen.

This South London venue is an institution, with a banging beer garden that hosts regular music nights - and shows sporting events on a big screen.

On Sundays you can choose from a roast chicken, beef, pork or veggie wellington - with a bundle of seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, loads of gravy and the essential Yorkie.

7. The Wilton Arms (Hyde Park Corner)

We ADORE the Wilton Arms!

Tucked away on a Belgravia backstreet, a short walk from Hyde Park Corner Underground station, you'll find this family run pub.

They make good, honest food prepared to the highest quality.

Their Sunday menu is guaranteed to get your mouth watering - with a range of small plates designed to be shared, along with beef and chicken roasts and a butternut squash wellington for the vegetarians.

8. The Woolpack Bermondsey (London Bridge)
This pub is our spiritual home just south of the Thames.
Enjoy a roast at the Woolpack in their MASSIVE, fully-covered beer garden, which is also full of Two Tribes artwork.
Choose from a Sutton Hubbart roast chook, a West Country roast beef, a loin of Dingley Dell pork belly or a beetroot wellington with mushroom gravy.

9. Sylvan Post (Forest Hill)

Sylvan Post is a terrific craft beer pub, located in the old post office in Forest Hill.

At the moment, they've got our Power Plant Gluten-Free Lager on tap, which is a fantastic and refreshing option to wash down the generous roasts which they serve up.

We'd recommend the Sylvan Post Roast which come with a 1/4 lemon thyme chicken, and beef, and TWO yorkies.

10. Ladywell Tavern (Ladywell/Lewisham)

Lewisham's the Ladywell Tavern is a historic London boozer, absolutely brimming with history.

They take their food very seriously - just check out their Instagram and try not to drool!

They regularly have music events on Sundays, so if you're lucky your roast will be accompanied with a free live performance.

11. temper Shoreditch (Old Street/Shoreditch High Street)

The team from Temper are legit fire-cooking legends. They've recently opened up shop in Shoreditch, and they've brought their FAMOUS Sunday Roasts with them!

Think sharing platters, beef fat roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings the size of your head!

Experience the best type of cultural fusion and wash your meal down with mezcal, tequila and signature cocktails - and a Two Tribes Mariachi Mexican Lager, of course.

12. Alice House (Queen's Park and West Hampstead)

The Alice House have two fantastic venues in West Hampstead and Queen's Park.

Vegans can enjoy a mushroom pithivier with walnuts, leeks and mushroom chutney. Meat lovers can choose from a free-range half chicken, slow cooked pulled lamb shoulder or a 36 day dry aged Sirloin.

All roasts are served with garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, garden greens, heritage carrots, Yorkshire pud and loads of gravy.

13. The Bull & Gate (Kentish Town)

The Bull & Gate is an iconic pub with a rich music history, found just steps away from the O2 Forum Kentish Town.

Choose from roast beef, roast pork or roast chicken. Vegetarians can choose from either a chestnut and lentil nut roast, or a vegan mushroom, spinach and seitan wellington. 

Wash it all down with a Two Tribes Metroland Session IPA. Deeeeelish!

14. The Old Red Lion (Elephant & Castle/Kennington)

Looking for a proper London pub? Look no further than The Old Red Lion in Kennington!

A gorgeous, classic mock Tudor exterior, which leads into a warm and cosy dark wood bar. It's no surprise that the building is Grade 2 listed. It's a stunner!

Their Sunday lunch menu is fantastic. Choose from rare roast beef, garlic thyme chicken, slow roast pork belly - and a spinach and butternut wellington for the vegetarians.

15. The Haverstock Tavern (Belsize Park/Camden Town)

At the top of Haverstock Hill, in between Belsize Park and Camden, is the brilliant Haverstock Tavern - a genuinely independent free house in a beautiful Georgian pub building.

They serve up fantastic local beers (including our Dream Factory Pale Ale) and great food - but what they do best is create a brilliant atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door.

The generous servings on their Sunday menu is something else. Lemon and herb half roast chicken, pork two-ways with crackling, ribeye of Barrett's prime beef - and for the vegetarians, a sweet potato, spinach and mushroom wellington.
